Utah

Luckily for us, Utah is right on the route from San Francisco to Iowa, so we were able to stop for five days and visit with my family, and we had a blast!  Summer in San Francisco is generally foggy and cold, so it was fun to experience some real summer temperatures and activities.  We kicked it off with the Strawberry Days Rodeo.

 Of course our kids loved just being able to run outside wherever and wherever they wanted...a luxury we have been missing for a while.

 Lance, Emily, and Matthew made this ingenius water balloon launcher that launched balloons clear across the field and into the next road over. We found out Emily made the best target (and she was a willing target fyi)

 In Utah, we also discovered Addi's "throwing arms" which, to be honest, was pretty entertaining.
