The kids and I headed out to the Coralville parade in the morning. Thanks to Utah Grandma for the cute outfits!

Blake sporting a new hair cut. His head was sweating so much in this heat, so the cute baby hair had to go.
This was the gist of the parade--cars, tractors, trucks with American Flags. It may not have been the fanciest parade, but it was full of good old fashioned American Pride. There was even an entry of a regular car with three kids in the back that had a poster on the side stating, "No Sponsor, just kids who like to throw candy"
Addi loved eating the candy of course, and Evelyn loved getting the candy. She figured out if she stood up and waved at the people in the parade, she got a ton. Then she would come back and dump it in front of Addi saying, "Here you guys go! I'll go get some more!"
Later, Evie made an "American Horse" to celebrate the day
He got more elaborate as the day went on with a turban or something wrapped around him
We had a barbeque with neighbors and the kids swam in the kiddie pool before heading to fireworks. When we got home, the kids were so exhausted that Addi fell asleep on the way up the stairs to bed.
About to start

The kids look adorable. Love Blakes outfit too. Looks like there is all kinds of fun in iowa
Also I love the horse!
