Thursday, Lance got off of work at 11am! That is a VERY unique situation, so we took advantage of his time off to go check out the Amana Colonies and then pick apples at a local orchard. Evelyn was finally starting to feel better, but about halfway through our day Blake started showing signs of getting sick, and slept almost the whole day. We enjoyed learning about the Amish way of life, browsing the stores, and eating the delicious food: potato bread, fresh jam, and cheese curds.
