I only have a handful of pictures from Christmas Morning, so here they are! Lance woke us all up early after he got a page to go in to work. We woke the kids up, ran downstairs, and tore open all the presents in a little under 20 minutes so Lance could see the kids open them before he had to head over to the hospital. He took the van thinking he would be home quickly, but then ended up having to stay until 3:30...which left us with no car seats and unable to go to Church! But despite things not really going as planned, it was a great day, and the kids loved every minute! I know this is one of those Christmases we are going to look back on and laugh about someday!
Blake was the best present-opener. He could rip the wrapping paper off of his gifts so fast, I couldn't believe it! I think it's all the practice he has destroying things!
He was pretty tired, and slowly started laying down to open presents. He only lasted an hour before going back to bed.
Addi is really into "mommy and daddy and baby" animals, and Evelyn asked Santa for a "kitty toy", so the girls got some cute little animals to take care of, a barn with some small animals, Princess Yahtzee, and Candyland. Blake got cars and a tool set (which ended up being everyone's favorite toy to play with). We enjoyed making a Christmas waffle dinner with our new waffle-maker from my parents! Thank you so much to everyone for your gifts, we loved them!
