Washington Part 3

(We were in Washington for almost three weeks...so there are a ton of pictures)

We celebrated Emma's birthday while she was visiting with us.  She, Evelyn, and Addi all have birthdays within three weeks of each other, so there was a lot of partying.  All our kids adore Emma, so they were in heaven to be able to play for a whole week! As a side note, I can't believe Emma and Evelyn start kindergarten in just a few weeks!!!

This little kid turns two next month! Two! He is currently obsessed with trucks and "driving" and it is definitely a new thing for our family to think about all this boy stuff.  He is constantly pointing out semi-trucks and pick-up trucks (his two absolute favorites) and saying "Truck Mom! Truck Mom! I wanna drive it!"
 "Driiiiiiiiiiiive it Mooooommm"
Grandpa was the nice one who finally let him "drive" the green suburban (sit on the seat and try to turn the steering wheel)
Blake is also by far our most independent kid.  He can do almost anything he puts his mind to...including climbing any and all the ladders on the play set, going down slides by himself, getting himself drinks of water, opening doors....I think we might be in trouble.

Grandma helped him drive the lawn mower
but then he had to take turns
Putting the trailer on was a huge hit, because everyone could ride at once.
And Tauni was the best driver because she would take them fast down the hills...just look at those screaming faces! (and Emma kissing Blake in this one)

Later that evening, Grandma mowed the lawn towing Evelyn and Emma, and they fell asleep like this--it was adorable.
