After Lance's orientation here in Phoenix, we had a few days off...a few days off???!!! That does NOT happen in residency! So we jumped in the car last minute and took the opportunity to visit my family. As soon as we stepped out of the car, Lance and I both mentioned how nice it felt outside...at 92 degrees. We are definitely getting used to hotter temperatures already.
Were there during the Lehi Rodeo...always a favorite.
If you haven't already noticed, we can hardly get a picture of Addi these days without this face:
...and again with the face
They got to see Great Grandma and Grandpa who were visiting. I love that the kids are so themselves in this picture. Evelyn: already changed into pajamas at 5 or 6 pm, Blake: no pants on, holding a crayon and a cell phone--ready for destruction, and Addi: about to make that face again, fingers are already creeping into position.
The kids looove Grandma's fountain. One morning we found a yellow squash from the garden in the fountain that they had been "washing" the night before
We had an amazing time even though our stay was too short. On our drive home we saw this huge fire off the side of the freeway
...and best of all we got to take Emily home with us for two weeks. We are loving having her here!
