We had so much fun in Utah, and our days were definitely packed! We went with my whole family to Farmington, went to a hotel/waterpark/shopping, and the next day went to Lagoon. Evelyn is always pretty brave when it comes to theme parks, but surprisingly, Addi LOVED the rides too! She went on every roller coaster she could and screamed for them to go faster. Her line all day was, "I LOVE to go FAST!!!"
We went to the theater and saw Maleficent. Matthew was a little embarrassed to be seen there, so I made sure to document the occasion.
Lance and I were able to pack in a few dates while we were there: the Utah Valley Parade of Homes, and then Mary Poppins at the Hale Center Theatre, City Creek, Temple Square, and we finally used Lance's birthday gift cards to Ruth's Chris Steak House - best steak I've ever had!
Lance had to leave on Father's Day to get back to work. We sure love this guy and all he does for us!
We visited Grandma and Grandpa Taylor's house for Father's Day, and the kids loved swinging and playing with their dog, Toby.
We spent the rest of the week playing in the rain, jumping on the trampoline, playing cards, and just hanging out with our family...

I also had a few reunions with old friends. The first was with some of my good friends from high school. We were missing a few, but it was so fun to get together with these ladies and see where life has taken them. It was just like old times - we even got together in Melissa Baker's basement!
The second was our 10-year high school reunion. I had the opportunity to help plan it, and among all the craziness with planning, it was so fun, and it ended up being a success!
My sister Emily drove back with me to Arizona on my first solo drive from Arizona to Utah so she could have Lance take her wisdom teeth out. It was awesome because Lance has taken out thousands of teeth, but this was the first time that he has taken out teeth on a family member (though I'm sure not the last!)
She was so lucky and didn't even get puffy cheeks or much pain or anything. Right after the surgery, after we pulled up to the drive-through at the pharmacy to get some pain medication, she felt sick from the anesthesia, and puked all over the outside of my car - gauze and all! The people behind us in line got quite a show!
The kids and I waited for her while she was in surgery, and they discussed the magazines in the waiting room. We had quite a few on-lookers!
We took it easy the rest of the week with Emily and went to the splash pad (or at least tried to--it was closed!), watched movies, and ate frozen yogurt.
Lucy couldn't get enough frozen yogurt, and cried every time we didn't get it to her fast enough. So spoiled!!!
Lucy turned 6 months old while we were in Utah and is the sweetest little thing. She loves sucking on her lips and is always making funny faces because of it.
I think we're approaching the crawling stage. She can scoot backwards, and is just starting to get up on her hands and knees and lunge forward. She is definitely on the move and is so adorable - although probably my most high maintenance baby! We love her so much, and we're starting to see her sweet personality!
