Washington Part 1

The first half of our time in Washington was spent in Oak Harbor. We were so lucky that our random time off included Labor Day and all of Lance's brothers and sisters and their kids were able to come out and visit for the three-day weekend! The kids were in heaven being able to play with their cousins (well we were too, but especially the kids!). Crabbing, dirt-biking, painting nails, taking family pictures, and just being able to be around everyone...it was so fun. It will probably be another year before we can do it again, so we were soaking it in while we could.

Grandpa took the girls out kayaking on the lake, and Hanna took Blake (which I don't have a picture of?)
 looking through grandpa's rocks

crabbing--it was the last weekend of crab season, but we were still able to get a few!

Blake had been looking forward to "catching crabs in a cage" for a long time

 Tauni painting nails

Tanner, Ellisha, and Jake

Tye found this lovely caterpillar, and was nice enough to share it with Blake, which Blake thought was awesome

Trying to get pictures of these crazy kids all together...

 Jane being cute
Emma and Evelyn are so sweet together. They were born only three weeks apart and have grown up loving to spend time together. Evelyn gets excited for a lot of things about visiting Washington, but I think Emma is always #1!
 Ellisha, Hanna, Tye...and caterpillar
Blake got so close to these deer. They obviously didn't care, and were really tame, but I kept thinking one was going to turn around and kick him or something.
it's ok, he was too cool for them anyway
