On Friday and Saturday, everyone else was able to meet up again at Mount Rainier and we did a few hikes together. Despite the rain, we were still able to see Grove of the Patriarchs.
Tanner obviously really enjoyed the puddles
Lance took these next one by walking into the river
We were also able to do a hike up at Paradise with everyone the next day, and it was clear enough to see Mount Rainier for most of the day.
Tye and Addi had a caterpillar that they kept track of for the whole hike, and kept taking turns holding it. It was quite a good distraction that kept them both into hiking the whole time.
Addi finally got to touch the snow on the "snowy mountain" which had been her goal the whole time we were at Mt. Rainier ("When are we going to see the SNOW on the snowy mountain?!")
And last but not least we stopped to play and throw rocks into the river. The kids loved it.
And finally, I stole this last picture from Dad Keyes of the ferry ride home because I thought it was so cute. Obviously we had a great time, and can't wait to come back to visit Washington and all our family. Hopefully sooner than later!
