Early Wednesday morning we got the kids out of bed in their pajamas and drove downtown to drop Lance off for Boards. It had been a beautiful, clear springtime morning, but sometime along the return trip it had started pouring ran. We arrived home, parked in our carport, and the girls laughed and screamed the whole way to the house because they had to walk through the rain on the wet sidewalks and through puddles in their lovely footie pajamas. Of course they were already soaking wet by the time we reached the door, so when they wanted to stay out for a while and play we just went with it and made sure the pajamas were extra soaked before we went in.
