Luke Days

We live right by Luke Air Force Base here in Arizona, so when we heard they were putting on an Air Show for Luke Days, we wanted to take the kids. We had so much fun watching the air shows during Fleet Week when we lived in San Francisco, and it was very reminiscent of those times (we even had planes practicing the show right over our house--just like in the Presidio). 

I guess I didn't realize just how long it had been since those times in San Francisco until Addi exclaimed that it was her first time ever to see an Air Show (what?!). Then I realized it has been 3 1/2 years (!!!) since our last Fleet Week! No wonder she didn't remember. Here are a few pictures from then and now just to put things into perspective.

Afterwards, we celebrated our fun day and the fact that Lance got to come home from work and join us with Rita's. We are already looking forward to next years show!
