Each year we get three weeks of vacation with Lance. The kids and I try to visit our extended families each Summer, but it's rare when Lance gets to go too! We had been planning this trip to Washington since the beginning of the year.

Lance and I were able to take an overnight trip to Leavenworth for our anniversary and leave the kids with our family. It was perfect because Lance was on call a ton the entire week of our anniversary, so it was the only time we could have spent time together. I can't believe we've been married 9 years!
We went to the aplet and cotlet factory in Cashmere, and it was actually really fun. They were preparing all their boxes of candy for Christmas shipments to Costco.
Leavenworth is a beautiful, touristy little German town. We spent the day walking through all the shops, trying the gelato and German food. The view could not be beat.
