I'm pretty sure our kids aren't Santa's biggest fans. Maybe from a distance.
Exhibit A:
So when Santa offered to call our house and talk to the kids, I couldn't resist capturing their reaction on video. They loved it! Thank you Santa/Uncle Jake! And now they've also warmed up to the big jolly guy coming into our house to bring presents. Evelyn is beyond excited and every day we switch our countdown blocks to one day less.
A few things before this video:
1) Yep, that's our tree! It's a "baby one" and "so cute"...not to mention interviews are pretty expensive, so this baby tree is perfect this year.
2) Blake is obsessed with it. We put only kid ornaments on it so he could take them off and put them on all day, which he does (and he loves the "balls"). He cried when the lights went out on the top half yesterday. If anyone else touches the tree he yells at them (as witnessed in the video).
3) There are a couple buzz words in our house: cookie, candy, and chocolate. If you say any of them around Blake, he goes crazy (again as witnessed in the video). Lance says it is the Keyes in him.
4) As a warning, this is another one of those ten-minute videos you might get bored with unless you are family. Enjoy!

It looks like they like santa now. Evelyn and Addie are getting so grown up. Blake is so cute with that tree. We wish we could see them in person! Have a merry merry christmas. Love those grandkids for us. Love mom
