Our mission when we went to the orchard this weekend was to find as many ripe/over-ripe apples as possible so we could make homemade fruit roll-ups. They sell apples off the ground for half price, so it sounded easy enough. Well, a couple fermented apples and several bees later, it wasn't so easy...but we had fun anyway, and got plenty of apples! All or part of our fun may have had something to do with a combination of Lance getting to go with us, beautiful Fall weather, happy kids, and homemade apple turnovers.
If you ask Lance who ate the most of the apple turnovers we got, he would say me. But seriously, they are SO good! And Blake helped me.
Blake kept crawling through the tall grass and shaking his head every time grass would get in his face
Oh, we love it here! And we can't wait to make our fruit roll-ups!

i just want to say that the face Blake is making in the last picture is TOTALLY a Lance face, started already.... too funny!
